Chris Evans is working on an iPhone version of FreeMind. Since Apple does not yet allow Java on the iPhone, a straight port is out of the question. However, a program that reads and writes FreeMind files is still possible. Anyone interested in being a developer (or tester) of this version should send an e-mail to cevans42ca at yahoo dot ca. Apple provides a free SDK, but it only runs on Mac OS X. In early development, before the application is available on the App Store, testers will need either Mac OS X and/or be an iPhone Developer Program member in order to test it.

For my thoughts for far on the interface, see iPhone Gestures.
